Acorn 2-1/4" Offset Bean Shutter Strap & adjustable pintle AKHBP
Whether new or old, enhance your home's historic look and feel with our bean design colonial shutter strap hinges. This 12 1/4"" strap hinge is surface mount with a 2 1/4" offset. This hinge is reversible for use on either left or right hand shutters. These have a lift off design that allows shutters to be easily hung or removed. Because of the length of the pintle we consider it to be adjustable. The long pintle allows you to have the shutter as close to the building as you want or out away from the building as you need. The pintle goes through the backplate and is not attached to it. This includes the strap hinge, pintle, backplate and decorative pyramid head screws. Made from solid stainless steel with a matte black finish.

Strap: 12 1/4" long from center of barrel to tip of bean and is 1 1/2" tall at barrel (pivot point). It has a 2 1/4" offset.
The pintle is 4 7/8" long by 3/8" in diameter. Because of its length we consider it to be adjustable.
Pintle backplate is 4 1/2" tall , 1 1/2" wide.
For use on either left or right hand shutters.
Have a lift off design that allows shutters to be easily hung or removed.
